Qura founders discovered my work through my portfolio, drawn to my clean aesthetic and experience designing in the personal-health space. After an initial briefing session, we defined clear goals for the product and mapped out the vision together.

I began with in-depth moodboards—covering both UI/UX direction and the broader brand concept—to capture a look and feel that was fresh, modern, and distinctly different from the typical medical clichés. The objective was ambitious: surprise the Italian market with an innovative, visually striking platform that could quickly build trust and drive conversions.

The results came fast. Within days of launch, Qura attracted over 3,000 registered users and 260 paying customers, validating the strategy and design direction from day one.

Research

The first phase of the project focused on researching competitors, analyzing needs, and defining the scope of the redesign. This helped establish a clear direction and build a solid foundation.

Wireframing

After the initial research, I created wireframes for the key pages to align on the structure and ensure all main screens were approved by the client.

Design

Once the moodboard and style direction were set, I moved on to the detailed design for both desktop and mobile. The challenge was to blend a bold, eye-catching style with solid UX principles.

The first step was to create a logo, brand identity, and a set of images that aligned with Qura’s concept. I directed the development of the logo and wordmark, drawing inspiration from DNA biomarkers, and then used MidJourney to craft the full set of images and overall visual vibe.
